1
City Tour Cusco
  • 1:00 PM – Hotel Pick-Up in Cusco
    Our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. After a brief orientation, we’ll begin our tour to explore the most emblematic sites of this historic city.
  • 1:30 PM – Plaza de Armas & Cathedral Visit
    We begin in the Plaza de Armas, the vibrant heart of Cusco. Here you will admire colonial architecture blended with Inca foundations. Visit the Cusco Cathedral, a masterpiece of colonial art, housing priceless paintings from the Cusco School and stunning gold and silver artifacts.
  • 2:15 PM – Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha)
    Next, we’ll visit Qoricancha, once the most sacred Inca temple dedicated to Inti, the Sun God. Explore the incredible Inca stonework that supports the colonial Santo Domingo church built by the Spanish. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the temple's religious importance and its architectural significance.
  • 3:00 PM – San Blas Neighborhood & Twelve-Angled Stone
    We will walk through the charming San Blas neighborhood, known for its whitewashed buildings, blue balconies, and artisanal workshops. Visit the small yet historic San Blas Church, famous for its intricately carved wooden pulpit. On the way, stop at Hatun Rumiyoc Street to admire the famous Twelve-Angled Stone, a symbol of Inca architectural precision.
  • 3:30 PM – Transfer to Sacsayhuaman
    We’ll drive uphill to Sacsayhuaman, one of the most impressive Inca fortresses, strategically positioned with panoramic views over Cusco. Marvel at its massive stone blocks, expertly cut and assembled without mortar.
  • 4:15 PM – Explore Qenqo Archaeological Complex
    Continue to Qenqo, a ceremonial site featuring carved rock formations, underground chambers, and ritual altars, where your guide will explain its ceremonial significance.
  • 4:45 PM – Puca Pucara (The Red Fortress)
    Visit Puca Pucara, a small fortress offering incredible views over the surrounding valleys, once used as a military checkpoint and resting place for Inca travelers.
  • 5:00 PM – Tambomachay (The Water Temple)
    Our last stop will be Tambomachay, a site associated with the worship of water, known for its finely crafted stone aqueducts, canals, and fountains that still function today.
  • 5:30 PM – Return to Cusco
    After a comprehensive exploration, we’ll return to the city. You will be dropped off at your hotel around 6:00 PM.
