Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)
- 04:30 am | Hotel Pickup in Cusco
Early pickup from your hotel and departure towards the south of Cusco. - 06:30 am | Breakfast in Cusipata
Stop at a local restaurant for a nutritious breakfast to fuel your trek. - 07:30 am | Arrival at the Trailhead (Llaqto)
Begin your hike from the starting point, situated at 4,600 meters (15,092 feet) above sea level. - 07:30 am – 09:30 am | Trek to Rainbow Mountain
Hike approximately 2 hours along scenic trails surrounded by Andean landscapes and herds of alpacas and llamas. - 09:30 am – 10:30 am | Visit to Rainbow Mountain
Arrive at the summit viewpoint (5,020 meters / 16,466 feet). Enjoy free time to admire and photograph the colorful mountain and surrounding scenery. - 10:30 am – 12:00 pm | Return Hike to Trailhead
Descend back to the starting point. - 12:30 pm | Lunch in Cusipata
Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. - 13:30 pm | Return to Cusco
